of Forms Furniture Warranty
of Forms’ Furniture Warranty applies to furniture items purchased from of Forms. The warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of 365 days from the date of delivery. Please refer to the disclaimer section on each product page to determine whether an item is covered under our Furniture Warranty.
Warranty Coverage
Our Furniture Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, for a period of 365 days from the date of delivery.
Manufacturing defects refer to faults in materials or workmanship that affect the structural integrity or intended function of the product.
Our products are designed for everyday use. Over time, materials may develop changes in appearance or character as they respond to use, handling, and the environment in which they are placed. These changes are considered part of the natural life of the object and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
Depending on the nature of the defect, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective item. If the item is no longer available, we may offer a comparable replacement or provide a refund via store credits.
Any issues present upon delivery should be reported within 3 days of receipt. Visible damage or surface defects must be reported within this period and will not be eligible for claims thereafter, where reasonably identifiable upon delivery.
Please refer to the section below for conditions and cases not eligible for warranty coverage.
The following are not considered defects:
General wear and tear from regular day-to-day use, including surface marks, scratches, dents, watermarks, and stains.
Fabric pilling, softening, or gradual loss of resilience in cushions over time.
Shedding, fold marks, or creases in rugs and carpets, which typically settle with use and regular vacuuming.
Damage caused by improper use or handling, including sitting or standing on furniture not intended for such use, placing heavy or sharp objects on surfaces, exposure to heat, or using furniture outdoors unless specified.
Changes in colour or tone due to exposure to sunlight, humidity, or moisture.
Damage caused by pets, including scratches, tears, or stains.
Damage resulting from cleaning agents or methods, including the use of abrasive materials, harsh chemicals, alcohol-based solvents, bleaches, or improper equipment.
Damage caused by third parties, such as upholstery services, carpet cleaners, or external repair providers.
Natural material behaviour, including creasing in fabric or leather, loose fibres, or the movement of timber (such as expansion, contraction, warping, or splitting) due to changes in humidity or exposure to moisture.
Corrosion or rust resulting from exposure to moisture or improper care.
The above list outlines general conditions that are not considered manufacturing defects across all furniture items.
Please refer to the sections below for additional, product-specific exclusions, as certain materials, constructions, and furniture types may have further conditions that are not covered under our Furniture Warranty.
Product Imagery & Colour Representation
We make every effort to present our products as accurately as possible.
However, colours, tones, and finishes may appear differently depending on screen settings, lighting conditions, and individual device displays.
As such, slight variations between on-screen images and the actual product may occur and are not considered defects under our Furniture Warranty.
Stainless Steel Furniture
Stainless steel is chosen for its durability, strength, and ability to age with character.
Surface Characteristics
Light surface scratches, fine marks, and tonal variations may be present upon delivery.
These are a natural result of the production and finishing process and are considered part of the material’s inherent character, especially on brushed finishes. They are not regarded as manufacturing defects.
With everyday use, stainless steel will continue to develop gentle markings, contributing to a lived-in appearance over time.
Stainless Steel Grades & Care
Stainless Steel Grade 201
Suitable for indoor use in areas with minimal moisture.
Not recommended for environments with frequent exposure to water.
If exposed to water or moisture, wipe dry immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
Stainless Steel Grade 304
Offers improved resistance to corrosion and rust.
Suitable for a wider range of indoor environments, though prolonged exposure to moisture should still be avoided.
If exposed to water, wipe dry promptly with a clean, dry cloth.
Stainless Steel Furniture Warranty Notes
Our Furniture Warranty does not cover typical light surface scratches or markings associated with normal production and everyday use.
All products undergo a Quality Control check prior to delivery.
If you believe surface markings are excessive upon delivery, please contact us and we will assess eligibility for warranty coverage at our discretion, based on our quality standards.
As we are unable to assess usage after delivery, the Furniture Warranty only covers rust that is present at the time of delivery. In such cases, a warranty claim must be submitted within 3 days of receiving the product.
Wood Furniture
Wood is a natural material valued for its warmth, texture, and ability to develop character over time.
Surface Characteristics
Grain variation, knots, tonal differences, and subtle irregularities may be present.
These are inherent to natural timber and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Over time, wood may deepen in tone and develop a more lived-in appearance.
Wood Care
Best kept in stable indoor environments.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, high humidity, or direct sunlight.
Wipe spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
For routine cleaning, use a soft, slightly damp cloth with mild soap if needed.
Dry immediately after cleaning to prevent moisture absorption.
Wood Furniture Warranty Notes
Our Furniture Warranty does not cover natural movement of wood, including expansion, contraction, warping, or minor splitting due to environmental conditions.
Changes in colour, grain appearance, or surface texture over time are considered part of the material’s natural ageing process and are not regarded as defects.
Sintered Stone Furniture
Sintered stone is selected for its durability, resistance to heat, and refined surface finish.
Surface Characteristics
Minor tonal variations, subtle pattern differences, and fine surface markings may be present.
These are a natural result of the manufacturing process and are not considered defects.
Sintered Stone Care
Resistant to heat and everyday use, but avoid sudden extreme temperature changes.
Wipe spills promptly to maintain surface clarity.
For routine cleaning, use a soft cloth with water or mild detergent.
Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or strong impact on edges.
Sintered Stone Furniture Warranty Notes
Our Furniture Warranty does not cover chips, cracks, or damage resulting from impact, misuse, or use beyond intended load-bearing conditions.
Edges and corners are more vulnerable to impact and should be handled with care.
Surface wear, minor scratches, or gradual changes in appearance from daily use are considered normal and are not regarded as defects.
Furniture Warranty Void
The Furniture Warranty will be void if the product has been disassembled, modified, repaired, or refurbished by the customer or by any third party.
